Key Responsibilities
* Contribute to the architecture, design and integration of next generation mobile battery systems.
* Define system requirements and ensure alignment across electrical, mechanical and software domains.
* Evaluate and select key components such as battery cells, BMS, inverters, thermal components and safety systems.
* Oversee prototyping, testing, validation and pre‑series builds.
* Work with partners and suppliers on technical topics, ensuring system compatibility and performance.
* Collaborate on certification related activities (e.g., CE, EMC, UN38.3, IEC standards) and planning of tests and documentation.
* Manage technical documentation, including system specs, test plans and risk assessments.
* Identify opportunities to improve performance, reliability, manufacturability and cost for future generations.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics or related field.
* Strong understanding of system integration across multiple engineering domains.
* Experience in fields such as battery systems, power electronics, embedded systems or electromechanical product development.
* Hands-on experience with prototyping, lab testing, measurement tools, and debugging hardware.
* Ability to work independently in a small, fast-moving team environment.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
Nice-to-Have Skills
* Experience with battery systems and high-power electronics.
* Familiarity with relevant safety and certification processes (e.g., CE, EMC, electrical safety, UN38.3).
* Knowledge of thermal management and mechanical integration of energy systems.
* Experience working in startups or early-stage product environments.
What We Offer
* A key technical role contributing to the development of future product generations.
* Opportunity to shape the future product roadmap of a growing energy-tech company.
* A dynamic and collaborative startup environment with short decision paths.
* Hands-on work, direct impact, and the ability to see your ideas turn into real products.
