As part of its continued international expansion, our client is seeking an experienced sales leader to further develop and scale the global sales organization. In this key role, you will play a major part in driving growth, expanding market presence, and strengthening long‑term customer relationships worldwide.
Aufgaben
Lead and further develop the global sales organization on both strategic and operational levels
Define and execute international sales and market strategies aligned with corporate objectives
Drive sustainable business growth and expand global market presence
Take full responsibility for sales budgets, revenue targets, and profitability
Manage and develop international subsidiaries and distribution partners
Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with key customers and strategic partners
Lead, coach, and develop an international sales team
Identify new market opportunities and establish strategic partnerships
Support complex contract negotiations and key account management activities
Provide market insights, KPIs, and performance reports to executive management
Qualifikation
Technical degree (e.g., biotechnology, engineering) combined with a higher business qualification
Several years of leadership experience in international sales, ideally in capital equipment or plant engineering
Proven track record in building and scaling global sales organizations
Experience in pharma, biotech, or life sciences industries is highly desirable
Strong strategic thinking with an entrepreneurial mindset
Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and German
High level of intercultural competence and willingness to travel internationally (40–60%)
