About the Role
The OT Service Delivery Manager is a pivotal position that oversees the end-to-end operation of Operational Technology (OT) services. This individual ensures that all operational activities align with the strategic objectives of the organization, serving as the primary point of contact between local operations, sector OT, and IT teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the governance and service tasks of the OT organization, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations
* Manage the lifecycle of OT systems, including change management, incident management, and service continuity management
* Conduct regular service reviews to analyze and report on OT system availability, implementing improvements as necessary
* Develop and maintain OT disaster recovery plans in alignment with Business Continuity Plans, performing regular exercises to ensure readiness
* Conduct security assessments for OT systems, define security controls, and register residual risks according to established cybersecurity standards
* Establish a service desk concept for OT systems, providing clear communication to users regarding support and operational processes
* Promote knowledge management practices within the OT organization, ensuring the continuous improvement of processes and documentation
Requirements
* Graduate degree in industrial automation, information technology, or a related field
* Several years (ideally 5+) of experience in operational technology (OT) service delivery, with a strong understanding of manufacturing environments
* Proven experience in managing OT systems and integrating them with IT infrastructure
* Hands-on experience with change management, incident management, and service continuity in an OT context
* Domain Knowledge in:
o Manufacturing: Understanding of industrial processes, machinery, and control systems
o OT Systems: Including IO, PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS, Historians and MES/EBR
o Industrial Networks: Fieldbus protocols, network architecture principles, ISA-99
o IT/OT Convergence: Expertise in integrating OT systems into IT infrastructure
o Security: Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for industrial environments
o Compliance: Understanding of industry regulations and compliance standards related to OT
* Experience in GxP environments beneficial
* Ability to interact with management in a matrix organization
* Problem-solving capabilities including project and time management
* German conversational and business-fluent English skills
