Become part of our mission to create a sustainable world and start in our European Headquarter in Küsnacht, Switzerland as: (Senior) Accountant (m/f/d) for a fixed term of 12 months What awaits you: Coordinate month end close and consolidation activities, ensuring timely, accurate, and high quality US GAAP financial reporting across a portfolio of 12 reporting entities Serve as the European subject matter expert for OneStream, enabling robust consolidation, account reconciliation excellence, and system enhancements including automation initiatives. Provide advanced technical accounting expertise, including contract assessments, application of complex accounting guidance, and embedded derivative evaluations. Review Novelis AG’s financial statements (US GAAP & Swiss GAAP), including SOX and policy compliance Manage quarterly reviews and year end audits with external auditors, delivering high quality submissions and driving timely resolution of issues. Act as Controller for Novelis AG (European HQ), directing cost analysis, financial planning, and forecasting to support strategic and operational decision making. Propose process improvements and automate existing processes How you convince us: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline; advanced professional qualifications are an asset Extensive experience in Finance and Accounting, preferably within shared service or outsourced delivery environments. Proficiency in SAP ERP, OneStream, and MS Office, with the ability to leverage digital tools to improve reporting and process effectiveness. Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP and Swiss GAAP; working knowledge of IFRS is advantageous.
