The International Section is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Teacher of Visual Arts Start date: August 2026 Workload: 75 – 85 % The successful candidate will teach students in Grades 7 – 12, delivering a pre-IB Visual Arts programme in the lower grades and the IB Diploma Visual Arts curriculum in the upper school. The role involves designing and delivering engaging, inquiry-based lessons that foster creativity, critical thinking, and artistic skill development. Responsibilities The teacher will support students’ artistic, academic, and personal growth both within and beyond the classroom, contribute to collaborative curriculum development, and participate actively in the school’s rich co-curricular and extracurricular life, including exhibitions, events, and interdisciplinary projects. Requirements •\tDegree in Visual Arts, Fine Arts, Art Education, or a closely related field •\tTeaching qualification recognised for secondary schools •\tProven teaching experience in secondary Visual Arts, preferably including the IB Diploma Visual Arts programme •\tStrong commitment to student-centred, inquiry-based learning and the ability to inspire creativity and independent artistic practice •\tConfident, flexible, and collaborative professional who enjoys working with young people in an international school environment •\tBoarding duties or professional sports coaching may be considered to complete the position •\tEU/EFTA citizenship
