About the team you are joining
About the team you are joining The Treasury Services & Currency Repatriation Product team plays a central role in supporting the global airline community by providing currency conversion solutions that enhance financial resilience, liquidity management, repatriation monitoring, and overall treasury operations. Our portfolio includes the IATA Currency Clearance Service (ICCS) and IATA Treasury Dashboard (TD). Additionally, the portfolio embeds industry activities pertaining to currency repatriation challenges (blocked funds) as well as industry events and groups.
We collaborate closely with airline treasury teams, as well as IATA’s partners and internal stakeholders across IATA wide team: from the regional/local officer to specific departments incl. the GDC, Participation, Customer Services, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure high-quality products, data accuracy, and industry-leading support for our members. What your day would be like
Product Management & Development:
Support execution of new features, integrations, and system improvements (, data quality, enhancements).
Coordinate and support enhancements for ICCS, Treasury Dashboard, and IATA Currency Center based on customer feedback and business requirements.
Manage Level-3 product queries, ensuring timely and high-quality responses to GDC and CS teams.
Liaise with internal IATA teams to ensure accuracy, quality, and alignment across processes.
Maintain product-related documentation (contracts, training materials, pricing, geo-coverage…).
Customer & Market Engagement:
Lead or support client engagement activities, including presentations, onboarding, client reviews, and issue resolution.
Support Sales teams with data, insights, lead suggestions, opportunity monitoring, and regular catch-ups.
Deliver or co-deliver webinars, workshops, and industry presentations to promote product understanding and market expansion.
Provide SME input to Marketing for campaigns, materials, and targeted initiatives.
Manage ICCS Newsletter
Market Development & Product Expansion:
Contribute to expansion initiatives for ICCS in new markets and customer segments.
Lead ICCS new flows (credit card and GSA sales) expansion activities.
Support pilots and scaling for new customer types (, travel agents, GSAs).
Develop and distribute content for market expansion campaigns.
Industry Blocked Funds & Currency Repatriation:
Ensure timely and accurate airline reporting for blocked funds; request clarifications where needed.
Monitor and improve blocked-funds data quality and ensure high accuracy for economic and market-event highlights.
Manage report distribution and respond to GDC queries on currency repatriation topics.
Lead the organization of the annual Currency Repatriation Forum (agenda, speakers, logistics, communications).
Product Governance & Events:
Supporting coordination of the ICCS User Group.
Manage work plans, meeting agendas, onboarding of new members, briefing papers, minutes, and deliverables.
Contribute to IATA WFS track (or standalone Treasury event) ensuring compelling and strong storytelling, speaker allocation and impactful content.
We would love to hear from you if
1. University degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, International Relations, or related field.
2. 3–5 years of experience in product management, treasury, payments, financial operations, or financial/market analytics.
3. Strong analytical and data-driven mindset; comfortable with dashboards (Power BI), data quality, and performance reporting.
4. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
5. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines.
6. Experience working with external stakeholders (, banks, card schemes, system providers) is an asset.
7. A proactive, collaborative mindset with a passion for improving products and customer experience.
8. Excellent English writing and speaking skills; additional languages are an asset.
9. Travel required: Occasional, depending on events and industry meetings.
