Overview
We are seeking a motivated R&D Laboratory Application Technician to join our Research & Development team. In this role, you will support our team by facilitating experiments, managing laboratory equipment, and ensuring the smooth operation of our R&D activities. Additionally, you will contribute to preparing the documentation and reports necessary for the New Product Development process.
Responsibilities
* Order and maintain laboratory supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment, adhering to established protocols and safety guidelines.
* Perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
* Support the development and optimization of experimental protocols and procedures in the scope of continuous improvement.
* Assist in analyzing and interpreting experimental results, including basic data analysis and graphical representation.
* Prepare applied samples (e.g., baked goods, snacks, beverages) for technical and sensory tests.
* Plan and execute stability testing for newly developed products.
Qualifications
* Graduate from secondary vocational education (Berufsbildung) majoring in Food Science/Food Technology.
* Fresh graduates from vocational education (Berufsbildung) are most preferred.
* Interest in problem-solving with the ability to plan, manage, and prioritize multiple simultaneous projects.
* Proficient in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to chart and present data. Familiarity with analytical software is preferable.
* Fluent in English; knowledge of another language is an advantage.
