As the management accountant, you will join our Switzerland Finance team, working closely with the Financial Controller. This role plays a key part in ensuring the month-end close process is completed accurately and on time, while supporting the wider budgeting and forecasting cycle. It's a great opportunity to contribute to a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.
You will also manage compliance with internal controls and adherence to corporate policies. Assist in the preparation and submission of tax returns, support tax compliance by providing timely and accurate information to external tax advisors, and serve as the point of contact for ESG matters, coordinating data collection, responding to information requests, and supporting external ESG reporting.

As the Management Accountant, you will assist with implementing, maintaining, and improving month-end processes and internal controls to meet the needs of a growing, fast-paced business. Provide support to the wider finance team, including cover during absences, cross-functional collaboration, and involvement in ad hoc projects or transformation initiatives. Support budgeting and forecasting, including data preparation, analysis, and commentary to inform decision-making.

What we're looking for:
* Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CIMA, ACCA)
* Experience in management accounting or a similar role
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Fluent in English (verbal and written)
* German speaking (desirable)
* Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
* Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
* Experience in management accounting, including month-end close, accruals, prepayments, and variance analysis
* Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP with practical application experience
* Understanding of financial reporting and statutory accounting requirements
* Knowledge of ESG reporting requirements relevant to Europe, including the evolving CSRD framework
