We offer a position of senior researcher / lecturer (80% work time) in marketing (official title: Maître assistante) to join the marketing team (Prof. Kocher and Prof. Bezençon) of the Institute of Management within the Faculty of Economics and Business, starting 1st February 2026.
Your Responsibilities
1. Collaborate on research projects with the team.
2. Publish findings in top-tier academic journals and present at international conferences.
3. Support PhD candidates’ development.
4. Organize research seminars within the institute.
5. Assist in writing grant proposals.
6. Enhance the visibility and reputation of the institute through scientific outreach and participation in academic networks.
Teaching
1. Teach at least 6 ECTS per year in marketing (e.g., Quantitative Methods in Management and/or Data-Driven Customer Management).
2. Supervise bachelor and master theses.
Administration and Service
1. Support the management of academic programs.
2. Participate in committees and contribute to institutional development.
Your Profile
1. PhD in Marketing, Behavioral Science, or a related discipline (obtained within the last 10 years), with postdoctoral research experience.
2. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in an academic environment.
3. Teaching experience is a strong asset.
4. Excellent command of English (oral and written); French is an asset.
5. Strong expertise in behavioral/experimental research and/or quantitative research.
6. Strong publication potential, as demonstrated by publications or research in revision.
We Offer Excellent Conditions
1. Salary: CHF 112,000 to CHF 128,000 (1st to 6th year), approximately EUR 119,000 to EUR 136,000 for a 100% position.
2. Contract duration: 4 years, with the possibility of extension for an additional 2 years.
