Description : Engineer Measurement Technology / Electrical & Physical Testing of Plastics (m/f) Role Overview : Huntsman is seeking an Engineer in Measurement Technology / Electrical & Physical Testing of Plastics to join our Technology Center in Basel, within the Advanced Materials division. This local function is part of the Technology Europe Product Development Group and reports to the Testing Team & Technology Manager. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting a wide range of R&D and commercial projects, acting as the testing expert for both electrical and physical testing of plastics. You will contribute to the development and implementation of innovative testing methods and standards, ensuring accurate and timely results that align with our ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation. Role Responsibilities : As an Engineer Measurement Technology, you will: Test of plastics in mainly electrical but also physical testing areas accurate and on time Support associates (Technology, Marketing, etc.) and other Huntsman sites in projects related to R&D and commercial products/samples as testing expert Prepare specimens to be tested with mechanical manufacturing processes (diamond saw, etc.) Develop innovative testing methods Implement new testing standards (IEC, ISO, etc.) Assist of trainees with technical guidance Ensure Accurate documentation of test results according to our ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation using common software as MS Office Test administration with our laboratory information management system (LIMS
