Join to apply for the Digital (and AI) Literacy Specialist role at Institut Le Rosey.

The Digital Literacy Specialist will be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of the school’s Digital Literacy program across year levels. This role combines curriculum innovation, direct teaching, and research‑driven program development. In addition to building students’ digital and AI literacy, the Digital Literacy Specialist will collaborate with teachers to design and implement an innovative AI program that meaningfully integrates artificial intelligence into teaching and learning. This work will involve classroom visits, data collection and analysis, evaluation of outcomes, and iterative refinement to ensure the program is evidence‑based and responsive to emerging technologies and learning needs.

Starting date: August 2026.


Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and continually refine a comprehensive Digital Literacy curriculum for multiple year groups.
* Deliver engaging lessons and workshops that build students’ skills in digital and AI literacy.
* Assist with the design, development and delivery of an innovative AI program that supports teachers and students in using AI responsibly, creatively, and effectively.
* Develop guidelines, learning resources, and instructional strategies for meaningful AI integration in classrooms.
* Collaborate with teachers on curriculum planning, co‑teaching, and instructional design using AI tools.
* Conduct classroom observations, teacher/student interviews, and data collection to understand the impact of AI‑enhanced learning experiences.
* Analyze data to evaluate program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
* Provide training, coaching, and ongoing support to teachers in digital literacy and AI integration.
* Contribute to a culture of innovation, digital citizenship, and ethical technology use across the school community.


Qualifications and Experience

* Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Education, Educational Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Proven experience designing and delivering Digital/AI Literacy or EdTech‑related curricula in K–12 or similar educational settings.
* Experience supporting teachers in integrating technology or AI tools into instructional practice.
* Experience with research methods, including classroom observations, data collection, qualitative/quantitative analysis, and iterative program evaluation.
* Experience working in international or innovative school environments.


Skills and Competencies

* Create coherent, developmentally appropriate digital literacy and AI learning curricula and experiences across year groups.
* Demonstrate effective teaching practices, student‑centered learning design, and the ability to adapt instruction for diverse learners.
* Develop a deep understanding of digital tools, emerging technologies, AI applications in education, and ethical considerations.
* Conduct classroom research, analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, and synthesizing findings into actionable insights.
* Work closely with teachers, leadership, and students to co‑design learning experiences and build a community of practice.
* Communicate effectively; lead workshops, present findings, and explain complex concepts clearly.
* Plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects within a dynamic school environment.
