Position Overview
The Operations and Sourcing Intern will support the Watch & Jewelry division. He/She will participate in daily activities and will be involved in specific projects. The internship's duration is 6 months.
Tripartite contract with the school is mandatory
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Operations
1. Support the integration of W&J division within new ERP and new IT initiative implementations
2. Manage component inventory transfers (coordinate return from markets, reconciliation of inventory over different plants)
3. Provide monthly reports and analysis of finished products, components and non-merchandise stock levels globally
4. Support non-merchandise (packaging, selling tools, …) flows (buying and distribution)
5. Oversee master data creation in SAP
6. Contribute to update logistic procedures
After Sales
7. Implement component billing process
8. Create an after-sales support kits
9. Coordinate implementation of regional after-sales policy liaising with Legal
10. Identify potential fine jewelry service centers
11. Define fine jewelry after sales policy
Sourcing
12. Provide business analysis at SKU level to support sourcing forecast
13. Analyze components consumption to recommend when new buy is required
14. Attend and support in the sales & operations planning meeting
Others
15. Coordinate product shipments for regional events and after sales service needs
Experience, Skills, and Knowledge
16. Student in bachelor or master’s in engineering or supply chain management
17. Advanced Microsoft Office skills, in particular Excel
18. Attention to detail
19. Team player
20. Ability to multitask
21. Able to work on own initiative and to be proactive
22. Fluent in English, any other language is an asset
