ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Marketing Automation Manager to lead the design, execution, and optimization of our marketing automation initiatives.
You will be responsible for driving the marketing automation roadmap, governance and processes, communication campaigns, demand generation, nurturing leads, improving conversion rates, and enabling sales effectiveness through data-driven marketing programs.
This role requires deep expertise in marketing automation platforms (e.g., SAP Marketing Cloud, Marketo, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, or similar), CRM integration (e.g., Salesforce, SAP CRM or similar), and campaign performance analytics.
As a Business Application Owner of Marketing Automation, you will be part of a broader team - The Digital Engagement and eCommerce Excellence (DEEX) team – which has business ownership and accountability for all platforms handling all digital touchpoints in the areas of customer IAM, CEX, Marketing Intelligence, Intelligence Based Decisioning, eCommerce, Learning Experience Management and Marketing Automation.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
Strategy & Execution
1. Own, manage and develop the marketing automation roadmap and align it with business goals within GMCE.
2. Design and build automated campaigns for communications, lead nurturing, scoring, lifecycle stages, and re-engagement.
3. Drive personalization and dynamic content strategies across channels (email, SMS, Social Messaging).
Campaign Management
4. Collaborating with demand generation, product marketing, and content teams to develop multi-touch campaigns
5. Optimize lead flows, forms, and progressive profiling to maximize lead capture
Data & Analytics
6. Define KPIs for automation effectiveness (e.g., MQLs, conversion rates, CPL)
7. Monitor performance and deliver regular reports on campaign outcomes and pipeline rasimpact
8. Ensure data hygiene and enforce lead management processes
Tech Stack & Integration
9. Serve as the business partner for the marketing automation platform
10. Manage integration with CRM, web analytics, webinar tools, and other MarTech platforms
11. Evaluate and implement automation tools to enhance scalability and efficiency
Team Enablement & Collaboration
12. Provide guidance and training to marketers and stakeholders on automation best practices
13. Collaborate with Sales, IT, and Service to align on lead handover and reporting
14. Team oriented attitude, experienced in leading and coaching project teams.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must-Have:
15. 8+ years of experience in marketing automation, with 2+ years in a senior/lead role
16. Hands-on experience with one or more marketing automation platforms
17. Strong understanding of lead scoring, customer journeys, and funnel metrics
18. Experience with CRM platforms and campaign reporting
19. Understanding of customer data architectures and related operational flows and processes
Nice-to-Have:
20. Experience with B2B enterprise or healthcare/technology sectors
21. Familiarity with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and global compliance regulations
22. Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email optimization
23. Knowledge of Account Based Marketing (ABM) and data enrichment
Soft Skills:
24. Fluent in English (written and spoken), any other language is an advantage.
