The Global Health Center at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies is seeking a Communications and Platform Associate to join the International Geneva Global Health Platform. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage with global health diplomacy, governance, and political dynamics at the heart of the Geneva ecosystem.
Key responsibilities :
Lead execution of the Platform’s communications strategy
Manage social media, newsletters, website content, and press relations
Design and produce multimedia content (graphics, podcasts, videos)
Coordinate external providers (designers, translators, etc.)
Support drafting of reports and donor outputs
Maintain communication tasks with tailored messaging to stakeholder groups
Coordinate logistics for events and training activities (online/in-person/hybrid)
Support concept notes, agendas, speaker bios, and post-event reports
Liaise with institutional services and external vendors
Contribute to Geneva Health Week and related initiatives
To be successful in this role, you should have :
Proven experience in communications and event support
Strong visual communication skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with Mailchimp, Canva/Adobe, video/audio editing
Experience managing social media and website content (WIX/Drupal)
Fluent English; minimum B1 French
Excellent organizational and collaborative abilities
Background in global health, development, or diplomacy
Experience managing logistics for hybrid and in-person events
