Group Investment Management (GIM) at Zurich is a globally integrated function responsible for defining and implementing the Group’s investment strategy across all major asset classes. GIM manages investment decisions within the Group’s risk and capital framework, provides centralized investment expertise and services, and ensures robust governance and oversight across regions and business units. Working closely with local and central stakeholders, GIM plays a key role in optimizing investment outcomes while ensuring consistency, regulatory compliance, and long‑term value creation for the Zurich Group.
As an Audit Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of a series of audits. You may work in close collaboration with audit team members across Group Audit, or take on more complex areas directly. You will also work closely with our regional technical centres of excellence, and the wider regional team as relevant to bring input and insight to your audit work and deliver the best possible outcomes. Working with more senior members of the team, you will undertake the risk assessment audit planning, develop an appropriate scope, assess key risks, and evaluate the environment, including leveraging Data Analytics, IT fundamentals, and GenAI. You will manage day‑to‑day relationships with stakeholders, building strong working relationships. You will develop high‑quality audit reports, including business impact, “so what?” and root causes.
As a key member of the team, you will foster a culture of quality, collaboration and continuous learning – enabling the team to deliver impactful audit outcomes. You will contribute to strategic priorities and co‑create a leading audit function, utilizing innovative audit approaches, new‑world skills (Data Analytics, IT fundamentals and GenAI) and Agile methods.
What you will do
* High Quality Audits: Deliver audits to exceptional quality, on time and within budget. Collaborate closely with GA’s Centers of Excellence, leveraging their expertise to enhance audit practices and outcomes. Encourage the team to use Data analytics, assess IT fundamentals and GenAI throughout the audit process.
* Insightful Reporting: Prepare and deliver clear and impactful audit reports with key findings and agreed actions to senior management.
* Build Strong Connections: Build and maintain strong day‑to‑day relationships, holding open and constructive relationships with stakeholders throughout audits and wider interactions.
* Foster a Learning Culture: Take an active role in your development and support the growth of the team. Champion a culture of experimentation and continuous learning – encouraging curiosity and role‑modeling a growth mindset. Actively coach and upskill team members, creating an open environment for discussion.
* Embrace New World Skills: Actively enhance your new‑world skills: Data, IT and GenAI. Recognize their importance in delivering optimal audit outcomes and future‑proofing your skillset.
* Support wider Audit Activities: Support the development of the risk assessment, audit plan, team meetings, trainings, etc.
* Collaborate As One: Collaborate throughout audits with all levels to achieve the best possible outcomes.
* Uphold Ethics and Integrity: Uphold and model the highest standards of ethics and integrity, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, regulations and internal policies.
What you bring
* Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree and/or professional qualification: chartered accountant, CFA, Financial Risk Manager (FRM) or CIA.
* Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience, including within Internal Audit, Risk Management or Compliance. Preferably within Insurance or Financial Services.
* Experience within complex, fast‑moving and international organizations.
* Strong understanding of Internal Audit Standards and methodology and internal control frameworks. Strong report‑writing skills.
* Strong relationship‑management skills, with a proven record of working with and influencing stakeholders across various levels.
* Experience dealing with regulators and/or other external stakeholders preferred.
* Strong understanding of Investment Management and Asset Management.
* Good experience/understanding of the power and application of new‑world skills (Data, IT and AI).
* Strong project‑management skills, ability to organize teams, prioritize tasks, guide and coach other team members to deliver on time to high‑quality standards.
* Passion and enthusiasm to continue to grow yourself and others around you.
* Fluent verbal and written English language skills.
