Your mission: As a passionate engineer and core member of the engineering team, you will lead and participate in complex projects, solve challenging technical tasks, and implement innovative manufacturing technologies.
Responsibilities:
* As a project leader, you are fully in charge of the project and involved in all its stages from the initial idea to the final control.
* You design and develop prototypes or new products and supervise the manufacturing processes (machining, assembly, etc.) of the entire system in respect of cost, quality, and planning targets.
* You choose and evaluate materials, components, and subsystems to achieve targets according to customer’s requirements.
* You control all engineering and manufacturing related steps, monitor processes in compliance with specifications, and ensure final acceptance test as well as side acceptance test.
* You generate and/or review concepts, technical drawings, manufacturing documentation, specifications, user manuals, etc., using dedicated software.
* You are in contact with customers as well as manage subcontractors and suppliers as partners.
Profile:
* > 3 years of experience as a mechanical/automation engineer or similar
* Creative personality capable of working independently and enjoying solving complex problems
* Highly self-motivated and detail-oriented team player with a real ability to conceive and lead the development of customized solutions
* Strong project management (preferably certified) and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks independently to meet the project’s objectives
* Action and result-oriented mindset
* Excellent communication skills and team spirit
* Expertise in 3D CAD conception tools, manufacturing strategies, and material science
* Knowledge and skill set in the area of product development, manufacturing, and testing, with specific development tools
* Experience in the field of mechanical design, automation, electronics, programming, and machine vision
* Fluent in French & English; a 3rd language is a plus
* Swiss or EU citizen or with a valid work permit for Switzerland
* Ready for occasional business travel
