Verantwortung für den gesamten Produktlebenszyklus unserer Brandmeldeanlagen.

Marktanalyse und strategische Planung zur Stärkung der Marktposition.

Zusammenarbeit mit Ingenieuren und Entwicklern zur Produktentwicklung.

Fähigkeiten

Hochschulabschluss in Ingenieurwesen oder Vergleichbarem, 3-5 Jahre Erfahrung.

Ausgezeichnete Kommunikations- und Teamfähigkeiten.

Our comprehensive global Fire Safety technologies encompass a wide range of areas, including detection, alarming, evacuation, extinguishing, danger management, and building management. With our extensive product offerings, we ensure the protection of individuals, assets, and businesses with unparalleled performance and efficiency.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Product Manager for our Mid-market Fire Detection Panels to contribute to the further advancement of the segment's vision and strategy. While maintaining the existing product portfolio, you will collaborate closely with engineering, developers, product managers, and our esteemed customers to identify and define the requirements for novel products that will drive future growth. You will assume full responsibility for the entire product lifecycle, encompassing product definition and development, support, and end-of-life planning. This role demands market analysis, strategic planning, and product development expertise.

Location: this role will be based in Munich/Germany or Zug/Switzerland. Please note that qualified candidates need to be legally eligible for work authorization in the respective location.

Your new responsibilities

Manage the full lifecycle of our fire mid-market control panels, including market-driven pricing, profitability, demand planning, and roadmap creation, in line with European norms and regulations.

Initiate and implement actions to continuously improve portfolio metrics and strengthen our market position.

Plan and conduct market launch as well as phase-outs in close collaboration with our sales colleagues in our focus countries.

Analyse markets, competitors, and technology trends and incorporate the findings into proposals to upper management.

Define, prioritize and validate requirements for product enhancements together with our R&D and product management colleagues and customers.

Monitor the business figures and actively handle deviations to achieve the product performance and growth, e.g. sales, profitability, availability, quality.

Coordinate activities with external partners and manufacturers together with colleagues from purchasing.

Be the guide regarding our competition, customers, and the overall market. Optimize your portfolio accordingly and gather emerging opportunities around your product.

Your Skills and Experience

University degree or higher education in engineering, business engineering or equivalent qualification.

Ideally 3-5 years of product management experience, preferably within a B2B environment, or technical project manager with a solid track record.

Experience within the Fire Safety industry or related building management systems / services.

Solid understanding of business economics and/or financials paired with long-term strategic attitude.

Experience in lean/agile development (e.g. SAFe) is a plus.

Resilient in challenging situations, well-structured and analytical way of working.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, team-player and able to build trust with internal and external partners.

Business fluent in English. German and any other European language skills are an advantage.
