The Role
In this role, you will be instrumental in further growing our Critical Environment Technology business. This role requires an in-depth understanding of the market, customers, and relevant technologies. You will work alongside our technical product teams and sales professionals across different countries to convert market demand into strategic initiatives or portfolio offerings, while also supporting sales enablement. Location: This role will be based in Frankfurt/Germany, Milan/Italy or Zug/Switzerland. Qualified candidates need to be legally eligible for work authorization in the respective location.
Responsibilities
Lead strategic initiatives and coordinate cross‑functional teams across departments and countries
Drive go‑to‑market strategies for vertical offerings and support launch activities in focus countries
Own customer requirements, including business potential, and influence product roadmaps
Support sales and validate solution offerings for critical environments, both commercially and technically
Develop training and certification programmes in collaboration with our Training Academy and Partner Management team
Further develop our global partner network to allow for growth through standardised solutions
Enable and support local teams by providing application knowledge
Requirements
Master's degree or equivalent in engineering or a business‑related field
Minimum of 10 years’ professional experience in the building automation industry, ideally with a focus on Critical Environment Technology
Deep market knowledge with the ability to evaluate customer objectives and translate them into compelling offerings and go‑to‑market strategies
Profound understanding of relevant regulations, such as Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
Experience in defining and developing standardised portfolio offerings
Experience in defining and executing go‑to‑market strategies
Strategic mindset combined with critical thinking skills
Stakeholder management skills and the ability to coordinate cross‑functional and international teams, as well as senior management
Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills in English; proficiency in German is a significant advantage
