Maintain and monitor infrastructure to reduce downtime and boost productivity.
This role is responsible for delivering IT support and maintaining infrastructure to ensure a smooth and secure digital workplace. Key responsibilities of the role are:
Provide first and second-level IT support, managing tickets and resolving user issues.
Deploy and maintain user workstations (laptops/desktops) and troubleshoot software problems.
Monitor infrastructure (systems, network, backup), elevate incidents, and schedule maintenance.
Track and follow up on security incidents in collaboration with the outsourced SOC.
Liaise with vendors to resolve hardware/software failures and support Microsoft applications.
Assist and train users, document procedures, and collaborate closely with internal teams.
Key success factors
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience in IT support, infrastructure maintenance, or a similar technical role.
Strong knowledge of Windows environments, workstation deployment, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira) and incident management processes.
Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools and escalation procedures.
Understanding of network systems, backups, and security incident tracking.
Ability to support Microsoft applications (Office365, Teams, SharePoint).
Excellent communication skills and a user-focused mindset. Ability to work collaboratively in a team and liaise with external vendors.
Proficient in English and Italian; other language(s) knowledge are a plus.
