About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
Business Intelligence (BI) Developer
to join our growing data and analytics team in Switzerland. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain BI solutions that provide actionable insights and support strategic business decisions.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a solid understanding of business processes, data modeling, and visualization best practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, build, and maintain
BI dashboards, reports, and data models
to support analytics and decision-making.
* Develop and optimize
ETL (Extract, Transform, Load)
processes for efficient data integration and reporting.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical BI requirements.
* Manage and improve the company's
data warehouse
and data pipelines.
* Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting systems.
* Work with
SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or Looker
to visualize data and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Monitor BI system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
* Maintain documentation for data sources, processes, and system configurations.
* Stay up-to-date with BI technologies, trends, and best practices to continuously improve BI capabilities.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
* 3–6 years of experience in
Business Intelligence development

data analytics
, or
data engineering
.
* Strong proficiency in
SQL
and data modeling.
* Experience with one or more BI tools (e.g.,
Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker
).
* Solid understanding of
data warehousing concepts
(e.g., star schema, ETL pipelines).
* Experience with cloud data platforms such as
Azure, AWS, or Google BigQuery
is an advantage.
* Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, R) is a plus.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Fluent in
English

* Strong communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional environment.
