Overview
This individual will be working within the Field IT Services team providing support for the JCI business within EMEA. The position reports to the Senior Manager, Field IT Support in the DACH region. The resource will be based in Pfaeffikon.
Responsibilities
* Ticket handling via ITSM
* Hardware installation and end user support
* Analysis and solution of IT problems incl. 2nd & 3rd level support in cooperation with the entire IT organization
* Cooperation on various projects (support of global IT initiatives)
* IT-Asset life cycle management
* Support for local infrastructure services (server, network, VoIP)
* Monitoring and advising on IT procurement
* Support for the compliance and security team
* Consulting and support for Ricoh devices
* Monitoring Data Backup
* On-site support for relocations (real estate activity support)
* for remote site support and dispatch at the Client’s request
What we expect from you
* Completed technical education or IT-savvy career changer
* 3 years of experience in technical support or in a comparable technical role
* Experience in a heterogeneous IT environment, in particular Windows server and network environment as well as for the Office365 application and platform
* Structured problem analysis and approach paired with solution orientation
* Confident priority management
* Very good communication skills and an engaging demeanor
* Very good knowledge of German & English
