Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage the delivery of local CapEx projects in the area of Bulk and Fractionation-from feasibility through planning, execution, qualification, and validation-within the scope of the Global Engineering & Project Delivery (ENG/PD) organization
2. Ensure that all project phases comply with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and cGxP guidelines
3. Coordinate cross-functional project teams and external partners to achieve project goals in terms of scope, schedule, budget, and quality
4. Oversee project documentation, risk management, contract management, and cost controlling throughout the project lifecycle
5. Drive continuous improvement and identify optimization opportunities within engineering processes and project execution
6. Serve as the key point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and effective collaboration
Profile
7. Bachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Process, or Chemical Engineering (,, Dipl.-Ing., or higher)
8. Solid proven project management and leadership experience in mid-sized, complex CapEx projects within the chemical, biotech, or pharmaceutical industry
9. Strong project management skills, including expertise in contract management, cost control, and stakeholder management
10. Demonstrated experience in process and infrastructure engineering in chemical, biotech, or pharmaceutical environments
11. Solid understanding and practical experience with cGxP requirements as well as qualification and validation processes
12. Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
13. Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to guide teams and manage departmental responsibilities
