Your mission
As Social Media Manager, you will be part of the «Marketing and Partnerships» team and work in close collaboration with the editorial team focused on serving Swiss citizens living abroad (“Swiss Abroad”). In this role, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Developing and managing the organic social media strategy tailored to the Swiss Abroad audience
2. Planning, producing, publishing and monitoring audience-appropriate content in German, French, Italian and English
3. Actively managing distribution resources aimed at the target group
4. Designing templates for formats and products in close collaboration with the brand manager, ensuring a consistent and seamless user experience across the entire customer journey
5. Analysing performance data, identifying potential for optimisation, and helping to develop best practices
6. Monitoring trends, testing new social media formats, and contributing innovative ideas to both strategy and daily editorial work
7. Community management and fostering stronger interaction with followers
Your profile
8. Several years' experience in social media management, ideally within a media or communications environment
9. Solid understanding of content formats, platform algorithms and analytics tools
10. A self-reliant, structured and meticulous approach to your work, paired with strong organisational skills
11. Experience in video and image editing ( Adobe Premiere, Photoshop)
12. You have native-level proficiency in English and speak German, French or Italian as your mother tongue. You also have a good command of the other two national languages.
13. You enjoy working in a multidisciplinary, multilingual team and taking ownership of your responsibilities
14. You are confident and comfortable dealing with a range of stakeholders and working styles
