Overview
We are seeking a Change Management Lead (m/f/d) for our international pharmaceutical client based in Basel to drive the change agenda for the NextGen ASCEND Development Data Platform. This program focuses on building a modern data foundation on AWS Cloud, creating a development-wide platform, establishing an architecture blueprint that connects multiple strategic initiatives, and delivering outcomes through an incremental execution approach. The role is central to ensuring smooth adoption and alignment across stakeholders during the program’s journey, with the first go-live planned for December 2026.

Responsibilities
* Lead the change management work stream for the NextGen ASCEND program, developing and executing high-level and phase-specific change management plans
* Conduct stakeholder analysis and change impact assessments to design targeted change interventions
* Create narratives, communication materials, and enablement plans that bring clarity to the program’s big picture and support stakeholder understanding
* Design and execute the change and communication plan for the first program phase, including readiness assessments to inform go/no-go decisions
* Build and manage a network of change champions to strengthen engagement and adoption
* Ensure consistency of messaging with broader ASCEND initiatives and align with the established ASCEND change management framework, including the use of the Change Navigator tool
Profile / Qualifications
* 10+ years of relevant experience
* Proven experience in managing large-scale, multi-geographic programs
* Strong expertise in change management strategy and planning, impact analysis, and stakeholder engagement
* Skilled in developing and delivering communication strategies and key messages across diverse stakeholder groups
* Ability to influence at all organizational levels and facilitate both small and large group discussions
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
* Solid general business acumen with the capacity to navigate complex organizational environments
* Play a pivotal leadership role in one of the most significant transformation initiatives in the development data space
