About The Role:
As Sales Manager at YAPEAL, you are at the forefront of growing our Embedded Finance customer base. You rely on a consultative selling approach based on a deep understanding of a prospective customer’s needs and YAPEAL’s solutions.
In this role, you take ownership of the entire sales lifecycle. You reach out to prospective customers, present YAPEAL’s offer, analyze the prospective customer’s pain points and expectations, propose the most fitting solution, and negotiate contracts.
Expect a Day Full of:
* Communication: Reach out to prospective customers for meetings and align effectively with internal teams (account management, solution development, etc.)
* Presentations and active listening: Present YAPEAL’s solutions to prospective customers and understand their needs
* Problem solving: Find best fit of YAPEAL solutions for a prospective customer’s needs
* Financial assessment: Calculate business cases to understand financial impact of proposed solutions on prospective customers and on YAPEAL
* Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with prospective customers, including pricing, scope of services, and timelines
* Learning and growing: Refine your understanding of a particular YAPEAL solution or of an industry as for us, continuous learning is a way of life
* Reporting and analysis: Create reports and analyses to understand the status of prospective customers in the sales cycle and measure success
Who We’re Looking For:

* Several years of experience in a comparable role or strong experience in management consulting, financial services or payments focus is a plus
* Exceptional communication skills
* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and conceptual skills
* Excellent stakeholder management and diplomatic finesse
* Can-do attitude with the ability to act pragmatically and with execution strength
* Intellectual curiosity, willingness to take ownership and grow
* Fluency in (Swiss-) German and English is a must, French is a plus
* Passion for fintech, digital-first business models, and scaling a dynamic company
