Responsibilities Innovation & Technical Marketing(ITM) - Agile management of the front-end innovation process (ideageneration, screening, portfolio management) to achieveproof-of-concept.
- Lead Basket of Ideas (BoI) / Voice of Customers(VoC) or any other future programs together with InnovationManagement & Partnership team ensuring the development funnelis always rich with strong and market worthy ideas.
- Ensuresufficient evaluation of ideas in terms of technical / marketanalysis, competitive benchmarking, next best alternative,potential benefit for Omya, etc.
- Define technical valuepropositions and create compelling technical marketing content(presentations, white papers, case studies, etc.).
- Develop valuepropositions and marketing strategies to support product launches.- Support training programs for Sales/Marketing teams on producttechnical features, advantages and benefits that are wellestablished and conducted.
- Support to identify technical /commercial / business model gaps in the portfolio and proposeinnovation initiatives.
- Accountable to ensure optimal ideas /pipeline conversion. Leading without authority - Lead largecross-functional project teams and engage with stakeholders, toachieve established innovation goals.
- Give transparency toproject team members to foster engagement.
- Ensure that knowledgeis openly shared cross-functional, enabling team members to learnfrom each other.
- Establish a performance mindset and a culture ofgrowth. Requirements - University Degree in engineering / chemistryor relevant subject area. Master’s degree in economics / business /finance beneficial.
- Minimum 5-10 years of relevant industryexperience. International work experience is beneficial.
- Goodunderstanding and knowledge of the Polymer market.
- Personalitywith a strong innovation mindset and a good feeling for unmetmarket needs and the market value of developed solutions.
- ProjectManagement skills with a proven track record of successfulexecution of complex projects.
- Proven leadership andcommunication skills to effectively interact with project teammembers from a range of backgrounds and at all levels.
- Goodinfluencing and negotiation skills to achieve results.
- Ability totake measured risks and develop new ideas aggressively.
- Excellentcommand of both oral and written English is required. Additionallanguage skills are beneficial.
