Job Title: Cisco Network Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Cisco network specialist to join our team. As a Cisco network specialist, you will be responsible for designing, deploying and optimizing Cisco-based network solutions.
Main Responsibilities:
* Design and deploy Cisco-based network solutions using routers, switches, wireless controllers and other related equipment.
* Monitor the network proactively using Cisco monitoring tools and ensure high availability.
* Handle incidents, analyze root causes and provide advanced troubleshooting.
* Ensure compliance with security standards and organizational policies.
* Maintain accurate technical documentation including configurations, diagrams, procedures and reports.
* Contribute to network upgrade projects including hardware refresh, IOS upgrades and integration of new Cisco technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or Network Engineering.
* Active Cisco CCNA certification.
* Minimum 4 years of experience in network administration or engineering within a Cisco-focused environment.
* Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, VLANs, subnetting, EIGRP, OSPF and BGP.
* Hands-on experience with Cisco switching including Catalyst and Meraki.
* Experience with Cisco wireless environments including WLC and Access Points.
* Proficiency with Cisco monitoring tools.
* Understanding of Network Access Control.
