Job Description
* Ensure full compliance with Swissmedic regulations and local pharmaceutical legislation for all imported and exported products.
* Act as the primary interface with Swiss regulatory authorities, including preparation and response to inspections and audits.
* Review, approve, and maintain quality documentation, batch records, and product dossiers for Swiss operations.
* Collaborate closely with global entity quality teams, CMOs, and production sites to ensure that imported products meet Swiss standards.
* Identify opportunities to improve local quality processes, policies, and systems.
* Support preparation for future team growth, including potential hiring and mentoring of local quality staff.
* Contribute to internal and external compliance and risk management initiatives.
The Successful Applicant
* Proven experience in pharmaceutical quality management within a multinational company in Switzerland.
* In-depth knowledge of Swissmedic requirements, local regulations, and quality standards for imported/exported pharmaceutical products.
* Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to operate autonomously.
* Experience working in a matrix organization, collaborating transversely with global teams and external partners.
* Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken).
* Ability to plan and build a team in the future, though initial role does not have direct reports.
* High attention to detail, integrity, and commitment to compliance and continuous improvement.
