Management platform. The initial priority use cases: Customer (MDM) and Geography (RDM) – are foundational to ORG’s operations, analytics, reporting, and external data exchange, and must be managed through a single, authoritative INFORMATICA platform aligned with ORG’s governance standards.
ORG is working with an implementation partner to deliver the initial INFORMATICA solution; however, ORG requires a senior, technically authoritative INFORMATICA MDM/RDM expert who will work closely with the partner to ensure these use cases are delivered within the project timeframe, and who will then take over full technical and business ownership of the platform, enabling ORG to operate, extend, and onboard additional use cases independently.
Objective
To lead the business-aligned implementation of INFORMATICA MDM and RDM, translating ORG’s existing governance framework into:
* Operational MDM and RDM.
* INFORMATICA data models, match rules, survivorship and workflows
* Golden records for Customer / Party data
* A steward-enabled operating model
This role is responsible for ensuring that what was defined in governance becomes real in INFORMATICA
Scope of Work
Lead workshops with business owners and data stewards to:
* Validate customer and reference data definitions
* Finalize the master data model by working with the implementing partner and the Data Governance and Management Section (DMGS).
* Define golden-record rules
Ensure MDM aligns with:
* Business processes
3.2 Functional and Technical Design
Own the functional and technical design by working with the implementing partner and DMGS:
* Match & merge rules
* Translate business and governance rules into INFORMATICA configuration
3.3 Implementation Partner Oversight
INFORMATICA configurations
Ensure the partner implements:
* The approved MDM
* Governance-aligned matching and survivorship
3.4 Golden Record & Data Quality Delivery
Oversee profiling, cleansing, and deduplication of customer data
* Match accuracy
* Merge outcomes
3.5 Stewardship & Business Enablement
Configure and validate stewardship workflows in INFORMATICA
Train and support:
* Data stewards
* Business owners
* IT users
* Review matches
Deliverables include:
* Finalized MDM and RDM implemented in INFORMATICA
* INFORMATICA MDM configuration (models, rules, workflows)
* Data quality & match/merge performance metrics
* Stewardship operating procedures in INFORMATICA
* Partner delivery acceptance & sign-off pack
* Training materials for stewards and business users
* Operational INFORMATICA handover pack
5. Required Profile
Mandatory
* 10+ years MDM/RDM experience; of which 5+ years in INFORMATICA MDM/RDM
* Hands-on INFORMATICA MDM delivery experience
o Match & merge
* Ability to speak business language, not just technical
* Experience defining and implementing MDM
* Experience working with system integrators
