We are seeking a talented Algorithmic Software Engineer to join our team in revolutionizing the construction industry. Our cloud-native platform enables qualified decision-making and automated 3D planning of sustainable building technology systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform applied research on experimental areas to bring new ideas and approaches to our generative design engine.
• Conceive and prototype new algorithms, bringing new features to the engine.
• Implement approved prototype versions into robust, memory-optimized versions, and deploy them into production.
• Review and increase stability and performance of existing algorithms.
• Collaborate with the back-end and plug-in development teams.
• Maintain the engine in the production environment and execute the release schedule.
Requirements:
• Background in computer science, mathematics, physics, software engineering, or related field, with 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C++, and SQL.
• Proven track record in algorithmic development.
• Experience with data science, machine learning, and deep learning.
• Familiarity with graph theory and computational geometry.
• Sound knowledge of data structures.
• Industry experience in memory and computational complexity optimization, parallelization, and multi-threading.
• Experience with REST-API integrations and open-source software.
• Experience with cloud services, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), Docker, and Linux systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and excellent communication skills in English.
Bonus Points:
• PhD in relevant disciplines
• Experience with reinforcement learning and training/deployment of machine learning models.
• Experience with GPU acceleration and CFD (computational fluid dynamics).
