The Legal Counsel will support the Financial Information division, which provides financial data products and services to institutional clients globally. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to support activities that generate revenue and report directly to the Director of Legal Operations. Fluency in English is essential for this role. /p h3KEY RESPONSIBILITIES /h3 ul liReview, draft, mark up and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements /li liLead negotiations relating to data purchase agreements, data supply agreements, MSAs and other commercial contracts supporting the Financial Information business /li liProvide pragmatic, risk‑based legal advice on commercial and operational matters /li liSupport company secretarial and corporate governance activities as required /li liAssist with ad hoc legal projects across the Financial Information division /li liWork collaboratively with legal colleagues across multiple jurisdictions /li liLeverage legal technology and AI‑enabled tools to improve efficiency in contract review and legal processes /li liIdentify opportunities to enhance existing legal operations and AI‑supported workflows where appropriate /li /ul h3YOUR PROFILE /h3 ul liQualified lawyer with significant post‑qualification experience in commercial contracting /li liStrong experience negotiating and drafting data services agreements, data licensing agreements, data purchase agreements and Master Services Agreements (MSAs) /li liProven ability to manage commercial contract negotiations directly with business stakeholders and counterparties /li liExperience in technology, financial information, digital products, data services, fintech or related sectors; a background in financial services, market infrastructure, data vendors or information services businesses is an advantage /li liFamiliarity with AI‑enabled legal tools and contract review platforms is desirable /liliExcellent written and verbal English language skills; Spanish language skills are an advantage /li /ul h3EAO STATEMENT /h3 pInterim Legal is an equal opportunity employer.
