Project:
For a public sector client, we are seeking an experienced Application Architect (m/f/d) with proven expertise in the e-government environment JP). In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and enhancement of application architectures for cantonal e-government solutions and will work closely with specialist departments, IT, and external partners.
Main tasks:
– Analysis, conception, and further development of the application architecture in the e-government environment
– Definition of architectural principles, guidelines, and standards for cantonal specialist applications
– Advising specialist departments and project managers on architectural issues and technology decisions
– Contributing to the definition of the e-government target architecture and roadmaps (EAM approaches)
– Ensuring integration, security, and quality requirements in the application landscape
– Evaluation of new technologies, frameworks, and platforms with regard to e-government requirements
– Creation of architecture and design documentation and presentation to stakeholders
– Close collaboration with development teams (internal/external) and monitoring of architectural compliance
Requirements:
– Completed computer science training or comparable technical education
– At least 5 years of experience as an IT software architect or in application architecture within the last 10 years
– At least 3 years of experience in e-government or with specialized e-government applications
– Demonstrable experience in building or further developing complex application architectures
– Professional experience in cantonal authorities in Switzerland
– Sound understanding of integration architectures, interfaces, security, and data flows in the public sector
Languages:
– Very good German skills, both spoken and written (C1 or higher)
– Additional national languages and/or English are an advantage
