The intern will be part of the Global Alliance Management (GAM) team and work primarily with the Global Business Development (GBD) team. Another part of the mandate is to support other teams and projects within GAM's teams. Selected candidate will be an integral contributor to the operational planning efforts.
She/He will maintain a database and further develop it to support the GBD team needs: analyze opportunities in the field of generic pharmaceuticals, develop better ways to track projects progresses, develop more effective reports and support the transformational cross functional initiatives that are integral to the Program management and leadership organization. The specific role of the Business Analyst requires a mix of Data Analytics, Communication capabilities.
MAIN TASKS
* Analysis of the product portfolio of pharmaceutical companies (analyze product portfolio of generic / pharmaceutical companies regarding product groups, company needs, etc.);
* Analysis of different markets, sectors and business models within the pharmaceutical industry (analyze different markets, segments and business models within the pharma industry);
* Support creating and maintaining a database of generic / pharmaceutical manufacturers regarding their capabilities;
* Management of databases through data entry and maintenance (ongoing data entry and data management);
* Tailor and develop database to better support GBD team needs;
* Compiling data analyzes based on financial KPIs and company tools.
QUALIFICATION PROFILE
Education & Languages:
* Bachelor's degree in Business or Sciences or related fields
* Strong competence using Microsoft Office software
* Proficiency in English essentially both oral and written, French is an asset
Skills & Competencies:
* Excellent analytical skills and business acumen, process-oriented and data driven mindset Proven ability to "see beyond the numbers''
* Knowledge of SharePoint and Salesforce is a plus, but it is not a requirement
* Self-driven and motivated to absorb new knowledge
* Solutions-oriented Individual: willing to propose solutions, where process-efficiencies can be implemented
