Counting nearly 1,200 employees and the Department of Geriatrics, a medical hub centered on the elderly, the organization comprises 6 services spread across 5 sites: Trois-Chêne, Loëx, Bellerive, Beau-Séjour, and Joli-Mont. It handles acute care, particularly through the emergency room at the Trois-Chêne hospital, addressing age-related specific issues, medical issues, and medicine at the heart of a park on the Belle-Idée estate. The Trois-Chêne Hospital accommodates individuals whose health requires specialized care or treatments. The hospital features a state-of-the-art radiology unit, intermediate care, and an emergency service capable of taking in patients aged 75 and older, outside urgent cases. You manage and oversee the medical activities of the department. You implement processes aimed at ensuring the quality of activities and reception, harmonizing professional practices, and maintaining coherence between different services at the departmental level. You ensure availability of resources concerning the workload. You supervise the staff and manage secretaries. Your qualities enable you to guide and motivate a team of secretaries. With your ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, you plan and coordinate the execution of medical and administrative tasks. Notably, you manage the creation, updating, and filing of medical records. Furthermore, you ensure the management of stocks and forms related to services, implementing relevant activities and ensuring proper monitoring. You ensure the control of clinical data while ensuring compliance with institutional requirements. This enables you to develop and update reference documents, procedures, and work methods that you communicate to your team. In a transverse manner, you participate in projects within your department or institution and contribute to the training of new interns and apprentices. If necessary, you are also able to provide support to your colleagues. You hold a medical secretary or medical assistant diploma and/or a commercial diploma or an equivalent vocational training certificate. You ideally have also completed training in management (CAS or equivalent title). You rely on at least 5 years of experience in a similar function, preferably in the medical field, and you also have experience in team management. You have very good knowledge of IT tools (ECDL advanced level for Word, standard level for Excel and PowerPoint). Knowledge of software such as DPI, DPA, Opale, Winscribe, and GRECO is an asset. You have an excellent command of French, both written and spoken. Medical terminology is easily understandable to you. You possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities, allowing you to handle urgent situations requiring good stress management. You have strong analytical skills and a summary mindset. You are assertive, flexible, and attentive. You are dynamic and show adaptability as well as a proactive attitude to ensure coherence in your work. You have a sharp sense of responsibility.
