We are seeking a talented and driven FP&A Senior Specialist, EMEA to join our EMEA FP&A team in Basel on a 12-month fixed-term contract (maternity cover). In this role, you will support the tactical execution of EMEA regional financial processes and partner closely with the sales organization to drive profitability and deliver annual goals.This is a hybrid position based in our Basel office. You will be required to work onsite from Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays. This role reports directly to the Head of EMEA FP&A.
What you will do in this role:
Performance Insights & Business Management
Deliver regular and ad-hoc actionable financial and commercial insights to key stakeholders (Head of EMEA FP&A, EMEA Executive Leadership Team, Head of Sales) to support decision-making and overall business management
Provide clear commentary on performance drivers, risks, and opportunities to strengthen profitability and target delivery
Month/Quarter End Analysis
Analyse the EMEA P&L during month/quarter end close and provide qualitative insights to stakeholders
Ensure accurate reporting and highlight key variances versus plan/forecast, including root cause analysis
Forecasting & Planning
Own the execution of EMEA regional forecasting processes, ensuring timely and accurate submissions
Support alignment of regional financial forecasts with market/commercial sales and operational plans
Business Partnering
Partner closely with the Head of EMEA FP&A to proactively drive insight, support, and challenge business assumptions
Collaborate with commercial teams to improve planning discipline and drive performance outcomes
Standards, Dashboards & Tools
Support the development of regional standards and dashboards in collaboration with Global Shared Services and BI teams
Leverage planning and reporting tools to improve transparency, consistency, and speed of insights
Who You Are
3–4 years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, and/or controlling functions
Strong business partnering skills and ability to collaborate effectively with commercial teams
Resilient, proactive, persuasive, and determined to make an impact
Experience in international environments, ideally within consumer/lifestyle products
Strong analytical capabilities and excellent organizational skills
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SAP and planning/reporting tools (e.g., Hyperion or similar)
Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field
Fluent in English; additional European language skills are an advantage
