Project background
In order to strengthen the small project team and support the NCCR Director in his tasks, we are establishing the new role "Administration & Logistics Assistant". This position reports to the NCCR Finance & Administration Manager.
Responsibilities
* Provide day‑to‑day general administrative support to the Finance & Administration Manager, e.g. processing of purchase orders, invoices, expenses, and tracking of minor expenditures
* Assist in on‑/offboarding of ETH Zurich personnel (administrative aspects)
* Organize and coordinate logistics for meetings, workshops, conferences, reviews including room bookings, travel, accommodation, catering, and on‑site arrangements
Profile
* You hold a commercial diploma, Matura or Handelsmittelschul‑ diploma and has gained preferably first working experience in a lively business environment
* Open‑minded team player with an interest in natural sciences, especially those connected to the origins of life research
* Commercial degree or similar
* Eager to learn and develop new skills
* Familiar with Microsoft Programs and Social Media tools
* Well‑organized, service oriented, hands‑on mentality
* Good language skills in German and English
* Teamplayer with a sense of humour
