HSE Specialist 80%

Responsibilities
- Ensure the adaptation and deployment of Sodexo’s HSE Strategy on each site where Sodexo operates
- Review national legislation, compare with Group requirements and develop health, safety and environmental procedures in the local Sodexo management system for all services provided on site
- Maintain local Sodexo HSE Management System
- Conduct risk assessments
- Develop and conduct HSE trainings
- Manage incidents and administer the SALUS system (systematic registration of all accidents on site as well as near misses and observations)
- Prepare reports in occupational health, occupational safety, and environment area
- Conduct HSE audits on site in occupational health and safety and environment area, and prepare/accompany external audits
- Support and build relations with operational teams to drive behaviour change and achieve best results in occupational health and safety
- Collaborate closely with building technology teams to ensure seamless integration of HSE requirements into technical operations and facility processes
- Support HSE implementation and operational readiness at our new site in Lucerne, ensuring alignment with Sodexo standards and local regulatory requirements
- Contribute to delivery of high‑quality service in the country, on time, on budget and key performance indicators
Qualifications
- University graduate in FM, health & safety, chemistry or environmental protection
- Certificate as an occupational safety specialist
- Work experience in occupational safety minimum 1 year
- Proactive, analytic, able to work in teams on each level of the organization
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel - approx. 1‑2 days per week
- German, English (intermediate – B1 or equivalent). French beneficial
- Education and work safety experience in project and process management
- Personal competences: growth, client & customer satisfaction/quality of services provided; ability to work successfully in a matrix organization; initiative, good self‑organisation, and team player; generalist interest in a wide range of topics and projects; high empathy and intercultural competence; meticulous work; strong critical and reflective skills
