Job Purpose
The Junior System Administrator supports the day-to-day maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of the company's IT systems and infrastructure. This role ensures the reliable operation of hardware, software, networks, and user support services, working closely with the IT & Security team to maintain a secure and efficient IT environment.
Duties And Responsibilities
* Provide first-level user support and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
* Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
* Manage user accounts, access rights, and group policies in Azure Active Directory and other environments.
* Support the administration and maintenance of Windows and Linux servers (on-premise and cloud).
* Assist with the setup and support of Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint, Exchange, and Teams.
* Help monitor and maintain local network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls).
* Document issues and resolutions and maintain asset and access inventories.
* Support onboarding and offboarding processes including device setup and access provisioning.
* Collaborate with internal and external IT stakeholders to support business operations and IT improvements.
* Follow and promote IT security and compliance best practices.
Qualifications
* 1 -3 years of experience in a similar IT support or system administration role
* Solid knowledge of Windows and Linux environments, Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams), and Azure Active Directory
* Experience with user and rights management, server infrastructure (cloud and on-premise), and basic network equipment
* IT certifications (Windows, Linux, networking) are a plus
* Knowledge of IT service and security frameworks (ISO 20000-1, ISO 27001, ITIL, COBIT) is an advantage
* Very good command of English (B2 or higher)
