While relocation to Atlanta is encouraged, it is not required. /p pWe provide an innovative, career-focused education that develops Doctors of Occupational Therapy who are highly skilled, mindful, and compassionate care providers. They are passionate lifelong learners who are servant leaders in their local community and highly engaged in their professional and broader health care communities. We are searching for team-oriented individuals with excellent communication and organizational skills. Assigned courses are based on faculty expertise and program needs. /p pApplicants can be remote but will be required to attend scheduled lab immersions in Atlanta, Georgia. Applicants from all areas of occupational therapy will be considered. Expertise in curriculum development and assessment, student coaching, development of success plans, or research in higher education is preferred. /p h3Job Requirements /h3 ul liDoctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) degree, an academic doctorate in Occupational Therapy, or an academic doctorate (PhD, EdD, DSc) in a related field /li liActive Occupational Therapy license, or eligibility for licensure, in the State of Georgia /li liPrior experience teaching in an ACOTE accredited Doctor of Occupational Therapy program /li liA minimum of five years of full time (or equivalent) post-licensure clinical practice /li liUnderstanding of higher education and contemporary clinical practice appropriate for leadership in Occupational therapy education /li liAble to travel overnight or for extended periods to Atlanta for lab and student events /li liStrong interpersonal and communication skills /li liDemonstrated enthusiasm for teaching and working in an inclusive team environment /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
