Logistics Operations Lead BioLOG - 80-100% (m/f/d)
Location: Switzerland, Visp (Relocation assistance available for eligible candidates)
The Logistics Operations Lead will be responsible for the daily management and monitoring of operational processes at the BioLOG logistics center in compliance with GMP and GDP requirements. This role ensures the smooth, safe, and quality‑compliant handling of all logistics processes from goods receipt to storage, picking, and shipping. The Lead acts as the central interface between the operational team, quality, planning, engineering, EHS, and logistics management, oversees audits and inspections, and manages costs within the area of responsibility.

What You Will Do
* Lead and develop your team through training, coaching, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
* Manage resource planning, absence management, and employee development to ensure operational flexibility.
* Coordinate all logistical tasks between customers and internal stakeholders.
* Oversee the accurate receipt, booking, sampling, and storage of goods.
* Ensure timely material supply to production, manage material flows, stock control, and SAP EWM transactional data.
* Maintain smooth material and information flow between external warehouses, internal logistics, and production.
* Guarantee on‑time, GDP‑compliant customer order shipments, including picking, packing, and shipping documentation.
* Collaborate closely with customer service, shipping planning, and supply‑chain teams.
* Manage freight forwarding activities for the Visp plant.
* Drive process optimization through regular Kaizen meetings and implement efficiency improvements.
What We Are Looking For
* European Logistics Degree (nice to have).
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a multinational pharmaceutical environment.
* LBMS Green Belt certification.
* Strong project and program management skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders.
* Excellent analytical skills and familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., BI solutions).
* Ability to thrive in a matrix organization.
* Fluency in English and German, both written and spoken.
