Manager of Socio-professional Activities and Technical ServicesJob DescriptionAs the manager of the socio-professional sector, you will be part of the management team at the Bois-Mermet prison. You will ensure the management and supervision of all socio-professional and technical activities, guaranteeing the compliance of activities with current regulations and directives.In this capacity, you hold a key position as the manager in charge of supervising the sector. You will ensure the quality of professional activities, the supervision of a team of approximately twelve people, as well as the proper functioning of the sector. You will also ensure the coordination of the sector's activities, ensuring their alignment with those of the establishment, and contribute to the support of detained persons. In the exercise of your duties, you will act at all times in accordance with our values: Loyalty, Solidarity, Credibility.Responsibilities- Manage and supervise all professional activities of the socio-professional and technical sector, in compliance with SPEN regulations and directives.- Ensure the human resources management of the sector: organize and lead team meetings, participate with the director in the recruitment of new staff, and conduct performance reviews for them.- Actively participate in the care of detained persons as well as their integration into various workshops and manage the maintenance of buildings and infrastructure, as well as ensure the judicious use of motor vehicles, machines, and equipment in general.- Collaborate with other sector managers in the planning and coordination of the institution's various activities.- Participate in the management of the institution's overall functioning with the management team and provide support during projects or missions of the institution.For further information, please consult the job description by clicking here.Profile- Federal diploma or other title deemed equivalent in the field of socio-professional activity or technical field.- Diploma in socio-professional work, or other title deemed equivalent demonstrating skills in the field of management.- Experience as a manager in the field of professional reintegration of adults or other social experience of at least 5 years.- Emotional stability and resistance to stress.- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and listen, and ease in assuming responsibilities and ability to assert oneself.Our employment conditions require that you be Swiss or a holder of a C permit, free of any certificate of unpaid debts (an extract from the Office of Prosecutions must be presented during the process), and your criminal record must be clean.
