Service Sales and Business Development Lead (gn)
– a strategic leadership role that will drive growth across key markets in Western and Northern Europe, particularly the DACH region and Nordics.
Job Description
Take ownership of the sales function: prepare, articulate, and execute a clear sales strategy; manage a sales team.
Continuously refine the go‑to‑market approach for services, adapting to regional market conditions and client expectations.
Build and expand a strong network within mid‑sized to large enterprises.
Identify and acquire new customers in target regions; proactively generate leads and pursue opportunities.
Collaborate with sales team members, technical experts, and project managers throughout the sales cycle.
Stay informed on industry trends and challenges to position AI, Data, and software services effectively.
Work with marketing to plan and participate in campaigns, conferences, and events.
Track sales metrics and pipeline status; provide regular updates to management.
The Successful Applicant
10+ years of success in IT services sales and business development.
Fluent in German and English.
Strong understanding of AI, Data, Cloud technologies, and modern IT trends.
Proven ability to develop strategies, lead teams (a plus but not necessary), and close major deals.
Entrepreneurial mindset with excellent communication and networking skills.
Strategic and analytical thinking.
