Product Manager for Automotive Digital Marketplace
You will own and evolve a key product area within AutoScout24 and MotoScout24. Your primary responsibility is to lead a cross‑functional scrum team to deliver products that professional sellers love, whilst serving the goals of the business.
Responsibilities
* Identify and prioritize opportunities for the business based on a deep understanding of customer needs and market.
* Manage the product roadmap and lifecycle: evaluate market trends, product metrics, international benchmarks, and risk to prioritize impactful projects and ensure the team is focused on high‑value initiatives.
* Lead cross‑functional alignment across business, technical, and customer stakeholders, integrating diverse perspectives into product decisions.
* Understand customer needs through research and direct interaction with customers, identifying opportunities to improve usability and satisfaction at all stages of the customer journey.
* Evaluate product success using quantitative and qualitative metrics, including beta testing and post‑launch reviews, to ensure solutions meet customer needs, define next steps and drive business results.
* Maintain product quality by ensuring data accuracy, process efficiency, and high standards in each release.
Qualifications
* Fluent in German, French or English.
* +3 years as a Product Manager with a proven record of launching impactful products, ideally in automotive, e‑commerce or similar digital sectors.
* Proficiency in analysing qualitative and quantitative data to inform product decisions; familiarity with A/B testing.
* Self‑starter, initiative‑driven, able to operate in ambiguous problem spaces.
* Strong communication skills and ability to articulate product decisions and rationale; comfortable making independent decisions while supporting team decision‑making.
* Ability to build strong, collaborative relationships across teams and hierarchies.
* Ownership mentality: eager to take accountability for delivering business and product outcomes.
* Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering or related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
