We are actively seeking a dynamic Product Designer (UI/UX) to help shape the future of our digital fan experiences across web, mobile, and TV platforms. Your main focus will be on VBTV (web, mobile apps and TV apps) and the Volleyball World website.
Key Responsibilities
* Use your expertise across multiple dimensions of design, including product thinking, interaction design, execution, and craft, to elevate both the products you are working on and the teams you are working with
* Lead the design process from concept to final product, including creating user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes
* Own the design system, design tokens, and component library for our digital products, ensuring consistency, scalability, and quality across platforms
* Collaborate closely with the internal product team and augmented team members across engineering and delivery
* Translate user needs, product strategy, business goals, and technical constraints into clear and effective design solutions
* Contribute to discovery, ideation, and iterative testing to validate concepts and improve the user experience
* Partner closely with engineers and other stakeholders through implementation to ensure a high-quality final product
* Advocate for usability, accessibility, and a consistently high bar for craft across all touchpoints
Qualifications & Skills
* Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field
* 5+ years of experience in responsive web and mobile app design for consumer-facing products at scale
* Visual design experience with strong proficiency in typography, design tokens, color, layout, iconography, and aesthetic judgment, and a clear understanding of how these elements impact product function
* Strong understanding and application of user-centered design methods and principles
* Fluent in Figma with the ability to move quickly from idea to prototype
* Experience creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished final designs
* Familiarity with web technologies like HTML/CSS and analogous mobile UI frameworks such aa SwiftUI, or Jetpack Compose
* Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain design decisions and influence stakeholders
* Collaboration, working effectively with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, business)
* Problem-solving mindset, focusing on solving real user and business challenges
* Adaptability, being comfortable with change, feedback, and evolving priorities
