On behalf of our Swiss Partner.
A warm German-Brazilian family based in Herrliberg, is seeking a professional full time nanny. The family has lived in London for 18 years and speaks excellent English, while the father also speaks German and the mother Portuguese. They are looking for someone calm, reliable and genuinely passionate about childcare, who can provide a supportive and nurturing environment for their two children.
Their elder son, who will turn four in December, attends day school daily from 8am to 3.30pm. Their younger son will be six months old when the mother returns to work in January. Both parents work full time, partly from home, and require consistent support for the baby as well as care for their older child once school finishes in the afternoon.
The family values a nanny who communicates clearly, keeps them updated on the children’s routines and activities, and respects their wishes regarding a healthy upbringing. They prefer limited exposure to screens and sweets, and encourage time outdoors and educational play. Previous experience in London with nannies means their eldest son is already used to being cared for by professionals outside of the family.
The household is well organised. They employ a cleaner and expect only light household support related to the children’s areas or tidying the kitchen after meals. Their current nanny also cooks dinner for the family, which has proved very helpful, so they would consider it an advantage if their new nanny enjoys cooking, though this is not a requirement.
The family does not have pets and is seeking a live out nanny. They travel regularly, including extended stays in Brazil, and take a fair and considerate approach to arranging time off and holiday pay with their staff.
The role offers 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, with a starting gross salary of CHF 4500 per month.

Recent Paediatric First Aid certificate
