DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and implement local quality procedures as well as work protocols to meet QMS of local standards and our systems
Conduct internal & external quality audits and evaluations
Organise delivery & acceptance events with the local customer
Handle all QA related issues with local sub-contractors and providers
Carry out Source inspection at the facilities of sub-contractors
Oversee acceptance inspection on all incoming products
Develop and execute acceptance tests of prototypes & productive systems on behalf of the provider
Create independent agreements with project participants to conduct quality inspections on behalf of the company
Provide on-site acceptance support for all prototype & productive systems
Assist in the development and implementation of a comprehensive V&V system for successful acceptances
Help develop test cases & sets for acceptance of prototypes and productive systems
Oversee and review the realisation of acceptances
Track and monitor all pending items, action items and residual items resulting from acceptances
Provide support to implement resulting pending items, action items and residual items
REQUIREMENTS
Native/fluent in German (C1) (ideally Swiss German), both verbally and written & fluency in English (C1). Fluency in French will be considered as an advantage
Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Mechanics or System engineering, etc.
Minimum of 10 - 15 years' experience in same or similar role is essential
In-depth experience in Quality Management, product Quality and production line lifecycle with a deep understanding of product integration & Testing as well as High Quality Standards
Previous experience in developing and conforming of quality systems is preferred
Prior work experience with the Swiss Army is essential
In-depth knowledge in Swiss Federal Acts requirements
Previous experience in engineering and system Engineering will be considered as a strong advantage
Prior experience in quality conformity audits is required
Additional experience in Source Inspections of Mechanical & Electrical Assemblies as well as managing complex Systems Delivery events
Demonstrated practice of product Acceptance testing (Surveys, SVR, PDR, documentation, the mechanics of the product, in line with Swiss Standards)
Full proficiency with Configuration Management (ideally ISO 9100) and Quality Management plans, Quality Verification Matrix
Sound understanding of IMA requirements
Ability to manage serial production and to define & provide IT Solutions.
