Senior Digital IC Design Engineer – Switzerland
We are partnered with an industry-leading semiconductor company expanding its team in Switzerland. This is a permanent, onsite opportunity based in Neuchâtel for a Senior Digital IC Design Engineer with expertise in developing embedded MCU/DSP systems.
Responsibilities
* Architect, implement, simulate, and benchmark MCU/DSP systems and hardware accelerators.
* Collaborate with product integration teams for seamless integration of solutions.
* Participate in verification and FPGA prototyping of designs.
* Coordinate SDK development with the software team.
* Lead project activities and contribute to design methodology and flow improvements.
Qualifications
* BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
* 10+ years in semiconductor product development, including engineering leadership.
* Proficiency in RTL design with Verilog/SystemVerilog.
* Expertise in embedded CPUs (e.g., ARM Cortex, DSP) and AMBA bus protocols (AHB/APB).
* Experience with any of the following is an added benefit: designing signal processing components; advanced digital verification (e.g., UVM); design intent (timing constraints, power intent); RTL-to-GDS flow including synthesis and place-and-route; programming in Python, Tcl, or embedded software.
