Job Purpose and Impact
The Senior Software Engineer - Agriculture & Trading will design and develop new and existing digital solutions for the organization's digital portfolio. In this role, you will discover and deliver solutions to complex and varied problems to enable the company's digital future. You will bring order to ambiguous scenarios and apply in depth and broad knowledge of architectural, engineering and security practices to ensure your solutions are scalable, resilient and robust and will share knowledge on modern practices and technologies to the shared engineering community.

7. Take the lead in the assigned agile team to adopt agile philosophies, facilitate agile ceremonies and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
8. Incorporate the company's engineering and development best practices within the full software development lifecycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, building processes, testing and security principles, to deliver high quality code rapidly.
9. Collaborate to lead demonstration and continuous feedback sessions to improve development and help drive the long term vision.
10. Participate in the engineering community by maintaining and sharing relevant technical approaches and modern skills.
11. Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
13. Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
14. Confirmed experience automating pipelines for continuous integration, testing, delivery and security.
15. Confirmed experience architecting applications, databases, services or integrations.
16. Extensive experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core.
17. Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Angular, React, or
18. Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
19. Knowledge of SQL Server and / or PostgreSQL for database design and management.
20. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
21. Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
22. Minimum of 5 years of related work experience in software development using .NET technologies.
Preferred Qualification
23. Understanding of microservices architecture and deployment strategies using Kubernetes.
24. Experience in breaking up monolithic applications into microservices.
25. Proficiency in Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) for building desktop applications.
26. Experience in integrating and utilizing AI models ( in software solutions).
27. Understanding of ethical considerations and best practices in AI development.
