Tasks and Responsibilities
* Manage distribution and logistics activities.
* Work closely with global supply chain and PO&T functions to ensure logistics execution.
* Manage FG shipments, invoicing, shipping deviations and sales & inventory reporting and participate in regular issue‑resolution meetings with cross‑functional stakeholders (e.g. Finished Goods Planning, Quality, Commercial, Finance, S&OP, Packaging Engineering).
* Identify and communicate any shipment risks to management, support recommendations and implement corrective actions to minimize supply risks within the defined quality and compliance framework (e.g. SOX, GMP & GDP).
* Monitor inventory levels and changing supply chain dynamics to anticipate and plan logistics activities, understand internal and external business drivers, and use this understanding to accomplish own work.
* Analyze cross‑functional and logistics processes, identify and implement solutions to improve the quality and efficiency of the supply chain, ensuring the desired customer service levels are met and continuous product supply.
* Possess a strong understanding of all distribution and logistics activities and provide introductory training in all D&L functions.
