The opportunity
We are looking for a passionate Research Team Manager. You will be responsible for leading our multidisciplinary ‘Semiconductor Packaging & Reliability Engineering’ research team in Baden‑Dättwil (Switzerland), part of the Central European Hitachi Energy Research Center.

* Foster the creation of new research project proposals and strategic research initiatives
* Contribute to an innovative and motivating working environment
You foster collaboration:
* Maintain and extend an excellent network to relevant business units and leading universities
* Promote collaboration between all Hitachi Energy Research Centers
You contribute:
* Contribute to research projects and pre‑studies with your own scientific expertise
* Oversee different research laboratories, including safety
Your background
* PhD in Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, or a related field
* Technical expertise in one or more of the following areas: power electronics, reliability, semiconductor packaging, and an interest in emerging research and technology fields
* Several years of experience and proven track record in industrial R&D
* Fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in German is an advantage
